Sometimes I'm revising my Ancient Hebrew or working on that paper, but you'll more likely find me making up little songs, doing crafts, hiking, and being thorougly humbled by the crossword. I am the proud caretaker of a maxed-out HECS, with which I studied far more theology than one should be allowed.
I believe in a God that is expansive, revolutionary, mystical, personal, and wondrous. I most often meet God in the Hebrew Bible, in nature, and in the faces of those around me. It is my continuous delight to be at New City Church, where we get all kinds of silly and nerdy—at the same time!
Being Pastor gives me a fantastic excuse to do two things I already love doing: talking about God and listening to people's stories. My hope is to watch this community continue to thrive as a place that values safety, exploration, and authenticity. Let me shout you a coffee sometime!
