Sometimes I'm revising my Ancient Hebrew or working on that paper, but you'll more likely find me making up little songs, doing crafts, going on adventures, and trying to 100% Mario Kart on the Wii. I am the proud caretaker of a maxed-out HECS, with which I studied linguistics, ancient languages, pathology collection (??), and far more theology than one should be allowed.
I believe in a God that is expansive, revolutionary, mystical, personal, and wondrous. I most often meet God in the Hebrew Bible, in nature, and in the faces of those around me. Being Pastor at New City Church gives me a fantastic excuse to do two things I already love doing: talking about God and listening to people's stories. My hope is to watch this community continue to thrive as a place that values safety, exploration, and authenticity.
